Castiglione Falletto
A Piedmontese family of entrepreneurs since 1831. Firstly in the textile industry, then in publishing and now also in wine-growing. In the 90’s, Silvano and Elena Boroli felt the need to start a new project. The choice was almost obligatory for a Piedmontese: Langa wines.

A family history, between culture and passion

Enterpreneurs since 1831, the Boroli family dedicated itself first to the textile field, then to publishing, and today it is involved in the wine industry. In the nineties, Silvano and Elena Boroli felt the need to reconnect with nature, far from the frenetic rhythms of modern life. They transformed their passion for wine and the Langhe region into commitment and dedication. In 2000, Achille, the third of four children, joined the company, contributing to turning the demanding job in the vineyards into something significant and great. It became a source of great satisfaction.

The Inestimable wonder of the Langhe region

Our wines embody the philosophy with which we dedicate ourselves to our work: uncompromising quality. They originate from the tradition of the Langhe region, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, but in both phases of production, our wines show new vitality through ongoing experimentation with innovative inputs, categorically aimed at achieving the highest possible quality.

At Boroli we’re convinced that a great wine always originates from a great vineyard and a great terroir. For this reason, over time, we have indulged our passion for Barolo, the ultimate expression of Piedmontese wine. Barolo DOCG, has always been accompanied by a micro-vinification of our crus, starting from the vineyards of ‘Villero” and “Cerequio”.

All of our work is driven by customer satisfaction: even before the recognition and flattering reviews from the industry press and the world’s leading guides, it confirms that we have taken the right path and motivates us to always offer the best.

Achille, after earning a degree in business economics, chose to take charge of the winery and to dedicate himself to the food industry.

Following the Michelin Star recognition for the family’s restaurant Locanda del Pilone, with the 2012 harvest, he drastically changed the approach in both the vineyard and the cellar, aiming for the total quality of Barolo and its crus.

Culture and wine: many things in common, starting with quality. Total quality, constant, and with no compromise.
