Verduno Pelaverga DOC: an elegant and refined wine

History and origins

Originating from a few hectares of vineyards west of Alba, Verduno DOC has ancient roots linked to the enological experiments of King Carlo Alberto in the 19th century. Used for centuries in blends with other local varieties, it has only recently been vinified in purity, quickly gaining prominence in the Piedmontese wine scene.

Production area

The Verduno DOC production area includes the municipality of Verduno and parts of La Morra and Roddi.

Organoleptic characteristics

Verduno DOC is an elegant and refined wine, with a light ruby red color and reflections ranging from violet to cherry. The aroma is fragrant and spicy, with notes of violet, cherry, green and white pepper. The taste is fresh and harmonious, with good structure and a pleasant balance between acidity and tannins.
