Dolcetto Summer Fest 2026

The fourth edition of the “Dolcetto Summer Fest” is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026, a major tasting event that will bring around 40 Dolcetto producers from various parts of Piedmont, street food, music, and much more to the historic center of Rodello, to celebrate one of Piedmont’s most iconic grape varieties and discover the charm and authenticity of a wonderful and still pristine village in the Langhe.

Dolcetto is a versatile wine with many identities (12 wines with a designation of origin are produced with this grape variety) that adapts well to a variety of foods. This is why the event program includes, in addition to Dolcetto producers, food stands, where you can enjoy local products while experimenting with delicious Wine&Food pairings.

The program includes a roundtable discussion at 3.00 pm at the Teatro Chiesa dei Battuti in Rodello: “Dolcetto: The Courage of Roots, the Challenge of the Territory,” a dialogue between vision, storytelling, and current events with entrepreneur Oscar Farinetti and actor Paolo Tibaldi, moderated by journalist Filippo Larganà.

At 5.00 pm the tasting dedicated to wine lovers will begin, who will be able to access the event by purchasing a wine tasting pass for 20.00 €, which will allow you to freely taste all the wines present: with its over 100 labels, the “Dolcetto Summer Fest” is the largest tasting table dedicated to Dolcetto in the various names and peculiarities, narrated by producers, consortia and associations from the main areas dedicated to this important grape variety. Visitors will be able to build their own path by thematic areas to deepen their knowledge of wine, territories and producers.

The offerings will be enriched, starting at 6:00 PM, by food stands and food trucks located in the historic center, where you can experience delicious pairings in a festive and convivial atmosphere.

The tasting ticket to Dolcetto Summer Fest is 20.00€ in advance online and includes unlimited tastings, as well as a complimentary glass cup and pocket.

The following day, Sunday, June 7, 2026, a lunch accompanied by the Dolcetto wines who participated in the event will be held at the Spianamento di San Sebastiano in Diano d’Alba (CN), and imitations of three 2024 Dolcetto wines will be recognized, tasted by the jury of experts during the Blind Wine Tasting open to the public, scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026 in Montelupo Albese. The ticket price for lunch on Sunday, June 7, 2026 is 35.00 € per person and includes the full menu and all wines for free tasting.
