Gigi Rosso

In Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of the Barolo region, stands Gigi Rosso Winery. Named after its founder – one of the key figures in the history of Barolo and the Langhe – the winery is now led by his son Maurizio and grandson Andreas, who continue the legacy guided by Gigi’s philosophy: respect for tradition, humbleness, and passion for wine.
Gigi Rosso tells a story of love for the land, respect for time, and devotion to the vineyard.
“Since 1971, our family has lived the vineyard as part of our identity. For us, making wine means being messengers of our territory. Every vineyard has something to say. Our task is to listen and reveal the soul of our native grapes, without forcing them to be what they are not, but rather revealing their true depth and honest nature.
We grew up breathing the scent of wet earth, walking among the vines, learning that patience is the real luxury. Our wines are born this way: slowly, respectfully, with heart. For those who believe that wine is not just something to drink, but a way to feel the beauty of a place and the story of a family.” – Gigi Rosso
