Marengo Mauro
Our farm is a family-run business founded by Francesco Marengo (Mauro’s father, the current owner and successor) who decided to plant his first vineyards in the Novello area around 1950.
Born primarily as an agricultural business, over time it transformed into a winery, until in 2015 (with the arrival of the third generation in the company) the entry of its wines onto the international market.
The company, in continuous renewal, has always cultivated its own land: 30 hectares of which 13 are planted with vines (only native vines) of Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo and Nas-cetta located on the hills of Novello and Barolo.
Growers for generations, we pay the utmost attention first of all to the care of the vineyard, respecting all the times that nature requires.
We produce Nas-cetta del comune di Novello doc, Dolcetto d’Alba doc, Barbera d’Alba Superiore doc, Langhe Nebbiolo doc, Barolo “Angela” docg, Barolo Ravera docg, and a red wine that we called Falun.
