Livia Fontana
The winery Livia Fontana is a beautiful example of how the tradition of the cellar existing since 1820 can be completed by an environment full of light and charm. The cellar has a beautiful ancient part where the bricks and barrels tell the passion and dedication to wine and a more modern part where the bottles are lost in transparency and light: tradition and modernity that merge to give an excellent product like the wines of Livia Fontana.
Livia inherited her passion for viticulture from her father Ettore and in turn, with love and enthusiasm managed to pass on to her children the same values as those who preceded her in these vineyards.
There are seven generations that preceded the current management of Livia Fontana and her sons Michele and Lorenzo. Each with their own roles brings energy, enthusiasm, competence and passion. The results are excellent wines, appreciated all over the world not only for the tradition and new technologies that blend together in high quality products but also for philosophy chosen by the company, which has always favoured the integrated struggle, manual processing in the vineyard and in the cellar and great care and respect for the environment.
