At Roddi Castle children discover the truffle secrets

Where the truffles born? Are they really black or white? What is the name of the person looking for truffles with dog? And then, do pigs really go hunting truffles? There are so many questions and curiosities that the little ones will discover at Roddi Castle on Sunday, July 30th.

Langa manor gardens, traditionally the most suited for the story of the famous Hypogeum Mushroom – today center of Giacomo Morra Museum – the King of truffle and the Alba White Truffle International Cooking School  “tɛrra”- are open for the first time, in order to welcome the youngest, for a didactic activity related with territory history and tradition (recommended from 6 to 10 years old).

To begin there will be a walk along the truffle path that continues, with a series of explanatory panels, in the village streets. Then a team game in which the children will have to answer some questions about what they have just learned on truffles argument.  For each answer, as a prize, they will receive a piece to make a puzzle, obviously maintaining the tuber theme.
