Wineries and producers, enotecas and castels, charming hotels and holiday farms: here the hospitality is an ancient art, enogastronomy is a vocation, and the landscape is a promise of unique emotions. Welcome to the Strada del Barolo: welcome to the kingdom of the great wines of the Langhe. Let yourself be carried away by the flow of ancient memories and follow along gentle paths the profiles of the hills, UNESCO World Heritage site. Then pause and listen: here joy echoes everywhere.

The association “Strada del Barolo e dei grandi vini di Langa” (Barolo wine route) was founded in 2006 with the purpose of enhancing, promoting and energising the territory where the valuable wines of Langa are produced. Here, centuries-old traditions take their roots and are joined by the culture and characteristic wine and food products for which this area has become renowned all over the world. Today almost 100 associates worked together in order to offer the tourists quality and emotions.

The Trail gathers the municipalities of Alba, Barolo, Castiglione Falletto, Cherasco, Diano d’Alba, Dogliani, Grinzane Cavour, La Morra, Monchiero, Monforte d’Alba, Montelupo Albese, Novello, Roddi, Roddino, Rodello, Serralunga d’Alba, Sinio and Verduno, in an extraordinary journey into the very heart and soul of the territory, where the main character is, indeed, the Wine. But in the background reigns the great patrimony of culture and tradition, the exuberance of nature with its enchanting hills and vineyards. Everything is flavoured by the strong, yet warm, character of the people of Langa who are always willing to kindly welcome visitors and lovers of good wine and food within their cellars, restaurants, b&b, hotels, workshops and museums.

This website will help you to discover the public access cellars and to organize your holiday in the beautiful landscape of Langhe and Roero. Welcome!
