For Saint Lawrence make a wish at the WiMu and hang up your dreams on the Langhe trees.

For the Saint Lawrence night, the appointment Calici di Stelle comes back in the Wine Museum in Barolo. This event, promoted by the Movimento Turismo del Vino and Città del Vino, will be on Wednesday, August 10th 2016. During this evening the Falletti Castle will be exceptionally open by night for the falling stars show and the “King drink”, to enjoy in the terrace among the vineyards.

Visitors will be invited to write some cards and to hang them up on the secular trees in the Castle square.

WiMu will be open from 8.30pm to 12am (ticket office will close at 11pm).

On the terrace people will have the opportunity to taste an old fashion drink, a typical beverage of the Langhe region: a cocktail based on Barolo Chinato pared with Baratti & Milano chocolate. A real “King drink”.

On the porch there will be some telescopes from the Osservatorio di Pino Torinese, to discover the sky with experts in the field.

The entrance to the main square in free. Instead, Museum visitors will have the chance to choose some special offers: Il Giro del vinovago, a kit with questions, games and riddles to test your wines’s knowledge or Esploramuseo, dedicated to families with kids between 6 and 12 years old.

Museum entrance
: standard fare. Free for owners of the Abbonamento Musei.
King Drink: 4 €. It is possible to taste the drink without entering in the museum.
Cumulative ticket WiMu + King Drink: 10 €.
Il Giro del vinovago: 4 € per group (max 5 people) plus the entrance ticket.
Esploramuseo: 4 € per family (max 5 people between adults and kids) plus the entrance ticket.
