The viticulture of Piedmont is considered by the experts as “the expression of natural talents!” In this context, the “Azienda Agricola Cadia” (Cadia Wine Estate) has all the characteristics to offer a real cross-section of the farmer’s life both in the vineyards and in the cellar. In 1913, with the typical winemaking spirit of the “people of Langa”, the paternal grandfather Marcello founded the Wine Estate. Nowadays the work and the care of the vineyards are the tasks of his son Giovanni while the conduction of the cellar is made by his grandson Bruno – the owner of the wine estate and an experienced cellar-man – who works with the help of his wife Mariella and his brother Piero, a wine expert. The wine estate consists of over 12 hectares of vineyards in full production. All the vineyards are located on the southeast slope of the hill of Monvigliero of Verduno, an important area for the cultivation of the Nebbiolo grapes for Barolo, and particularly on the “Cadia” hill from which the Wine Estate takes its name.
