I Pascoli di Amaltea
Località Roccabertone 81, Mombarcaro CNWe are Alessandro and Arianna, and we run an organic farm in Mombarcaro, in the Alta Langa. We live in a house in the middle of the woods, where we raise Langhe sheep, an ancient local breed at risk of extinction. In our small dairy, we produce raw-milk cheeses like sheep’s tuma and aged cheeses. We use only milk, rennet and salt. We practice sustainable agriculture, respectful of the environment and in harmony with the cycles of nature.Â
We have converted the old farmhouse stable into a didactic farm, where we organize activities like workshops and cheese tasting for children and adults. You can learn about how to make cheese, uncover the secrets of raw milk, play with wool, and discover nature that surrounds us. We also offerfarmhouse holidays, with two quiet, secluded rooms – “La Stanza della Maestra” and “Il Granaio” – furnished using recycled materials and repurposed antiques.Â
