Literally Sörì means solatio , exposed to the sun; therefore the word is used to denote those areas of the territory that are especially suited to the viticulture. In the middle of the 80’s these subareas of the municipal territory which were cultivated to Dolcetto were mapped and catalogued. Today there are up to 76 Sörì. The association was born officially on the 6th December 1999 in order to promote a greater knowledge and diffusion of Dolcetto di Diano d’Alba. Today this is still our main aim. Dolcetto di Diano d’Alba has obtained the important acknowledgement of DOCG in 2010. In the wine shop, located in an historical building, you can find more than 160 labels of different wines, produced in a variegated territory that extends over more than 473 hectares of whom 60% is dedicated to Dolcetto di Diano.

Nowadays we have got more than forty wine-maker partners with 53 different labels in addiction to their other wines: Barolo, Nebbiolo d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba, Langhe Favorita, Langhe Arneis, Langhe Chardonnay, Moscato and various kinds of Grappa. These wines represent different shades of colors and perfumes that our territory can offer to a particularly demanding public.
