Tenuta Baràc
Tenuta Baràc is located nearby the town of Alba, in the hamlet of San Rocco Seno d’Elvio.
The estate is characterized by a charming farmhouse of the early twentieth century, subject to an important architectural restoration, which has brought to light the original materials.
In 2002 Wilma and Albino opened the bed&breakfast Cascina Baràc. From 2007 they started to directly manage the 12 hectares of vineyards then in 2015, with their children Alberto and Marta, they decided to vinify their first vintage in the new winery.
For the family was important to work sustainable from the beginning.
They got “the green experience” certification and in 2017.
Today they are officially certified BIO (organic) both in vineyard and in cellar, since 2020 vintage.

Discover our wines with a tour of our cellar. Our sommelier will guide you to discover the most precious wines of Italy that have made Langhe an excellence all over the world. Tenuta Baràc offers ideal tours for an audience of both enthusiasts and people who wish to have a first experience of wine culture. We are glad to welcome children but we care about other Guests’ quietness, therefore we kindly ask you to check on your children’s behaviour. What is included The Wine Tour at our Estate includes a walk through the vineyards, a visit to the winemaking and aging area of our cellar and the tasting of our wines (5) accompanied by a small platter of salami.
