Oberto Egidio
The Oberto Egidio farm is located on a typical Piedmontese farmhouse just outside the historic center of La Morra, in the heart of the Langhe. Today, Martina, the fourth generation, together with her parents Marisa and Franco, runs the winery and the farmhouse. Driven by a passion for hospitality, the Oberto family decided to open the doors of their home in 1981, creating the Il Gelso farmhouse. Today they offer apartments with direct access to the large terrace overlooking an enchanting panorama, buffet breakfasts with local products and the swimming pool overlooking the vineyards. The typical wines of the Langhe area are still produced today, including Barolo, in the ancient winery at the end of the ‘800, with the possibility of tasting them and organizing walks in the vineyards they own. The company is also dedicated to the cultivation of PGI Piedmont Hazelnut, which can be tasted for breakfast during your stay at the farmhouse.

Tours
For 25€ per person, you can enjoy a tasting that includes Dolcetto d’alba, Barbera d’alba, Langhe Nebbiolo, and Barolo Fossati, as well as a plate of typical local cured meats and cheeses. It lasts about 1h30 at the end there will be a visit to the cellar. Possibility to also add the two white wines “I Sassi” and “Condiviso+” at the total cost of €30.
