Le Case della Saracca
An extraordinary restaurant in the historic center of Monforte d’Alba: four medieval houses in the neighborhood Saracca, the oldest in the town, which have kept their austere silhoutte while inside were gutted and merged to become a restaurant with many small environments.
The philosophy of the restaurant is very clear: the raw materials of excellence and little work in the kitchen to change as little as possible the quality. And then you can find the anchovies from the Cantabrian Sea and the tuna belly grade, the flesh of female fassone or rice Watercolor. Then many traditional dishes, “Finanziera” and dip, a sharp marinated and snails with juniper.
The buildings have been carefully restored to preserve their medieval atmosphere while also being equipped with the latest technology to ensure the ultimate in comfort for an unforgettable holiday. Almost all of the six, completely individual, rooms have their own open log fireplace.
