Giovanni Rosso

Giovanni Rosso is a celebrated name in Piedmontese winemaking, based in the renowned village of Serralunga d’Alba, in the very heart of the Langhe. For generations, the estate has upheld a deep-rooted winegrowing tradition and is best known for producing exceptional Barolo wines from some of the region’s most storied and distinctive crus — most notably, the legendary Vignarionda. Since 2016, the Rosso family has also brought its philosophy to the slopes of Mount Etna, where the volcanic soils produce wines of striking purity, verticality, and finesse – true reflections of the northern face of the great volcano In Montedolce and Pietra Marina contradas. In the vineyard, the focus is on respecting the land, using thoughtful, sustainable practices that maintain the natural balance of the vines. In the cellar, the approach leans toward classic winemaking, allowing each parcel to express its unique character with clarity, elegance, and precision. At the heart of Giovanni Rosso’s vision is a simple yet powerful goal: to let the land speak through wines of integrity and timeless character, crafted to evolve with grace and confidence over the years.
