The Wine Tasting Experience® at the 95th edition of the Alba Truffle Fair

After having become a must see event for hundreds of wine lovers who visit Langhe, the Wine Tasting Experience®, original tasting event devised by Strada del Barolo, will be part, as usual, of the official programme of the Alba International White Truffle Fair, which, now in its ninety-fifth edition, proposes an eight-week program of events and initiatives.
The Wine Tasting Experience® will be held every Saturday and Sunday from 11th October to 6th December 2025 at the “F. Eusebio” Civic Museum of Archaeology and Natural Sciences, located within the Cortile della Maddalena. This is the home of the Alba White Truffle World Market and the heart of the Truffle Fair, with access from Piazza Falcone, 12051 Alba (CN).

“The Taste of the Hills”, “The Crus of Barolo” and “The many faces of Nebbiolo” are the topics that will alternate during the entire fair. “The Taste of the Hills” is a tasting journey through the rich diversity of the Piedmonte hills, featuring four wines that tell the story of this land: you’ll discover the fresh notes of Arneis or Nascetta, the vibrant tones of Dolcetto or Pelaverga, and the timeless classics like Barbera and Barolo, each revealing a different facet of the Langhe; “The Crus of Barolo” is a sensory journey through three iconic single-vineyard Barolo, each expressing a unique soul of the Langhe hills: guided by local experts — producers, oenologists, or professional sommeliers — you’ll uncover how soil, exposure, and winemaking traditions shape the identity of each cru and each wine; “The many faces of Nebbiolo” accompanies you through the elegant and surprising nuances of one of Italy’s most iconic grape varieties: by tasting Nebbiolo, Barbaresco and Barolo, you’ll explore how soil, altitude, winemaking traditions and time, transform the same grape into three distinct identities.
The Wine Tasting Experience® will be led by the same lecturer in both Italian and English, and each tasting will last approximately one hour. The tickets can be purchased in advance online at a cost of 37.00 € per person, including educational material (available both in Italian and English) and entrance at the “Alba White Truffle World Market” and to the “F. Eusebio” Civic Museum of Archaeology and Natural Sciences:
