Il Barolo a Palazzo Barolo – IV edizione

On Saturday 22 February 2025, the producers of the Strada del Barolo will offer the public of Turin wine lovers a high-level tasting in the elegant rooms on the Piano Nobile of Palazzo Barolo, which was the residence of the last Marquises of Barolo, Carlo Tancredi Falletti and Giulia Colbert, to whose foresight and modernity much of the fame and fortune of Barolo wine is due.

Participants will be guided on a journey to discover the “King of Wines”: Barolo, which the producers of the Strada del Barolo will present in person in its many facets, offering tastings of different crus and vintages. The tastings will be accompanied by small samples of excellent agri-food products presented by companies associated with the Strada del Barolo and great wines of Langa.

The event will be organized in two shifts, from 3.30 pm to 6.00 pm and from 7.00 pm to 9.30 pm. The cost of the entrance ticket is €36.00 per person + commissions in advance online, or €41.00 on site (subject to availability) and allows you to taste the wines of all the producers present without limits on the number of tastings.

The two sessions will be preceded by two tasting lounges (at 2:30 pm and 6:00 pm) featuring producers who will address themes related to the history and current events of Barolo and the wines of the Langhe and will offer a tasting of a particularly representative wine from their cellars, not present in the main tasting. The lounges will be hosted by Francesco Quarna, DJ and winemaker, passionate about viticulture and food and wine, who hosts the podcast “Deejay Wine Club” and “Summer Camp” live on Radio Deejay.

To also participate in the tasting lounges, an integrated event + lounge ticket is required at a cost of €45.00 per person + online pre-sale fees. Each participant will receive a glass to take home as a souvenir of the evening.

The event is organized with the support of Turismo Torino e Provincia and is part of the Vendemmia a Torino – Grapes in Town program.
