Keeping the course straight, or how to continue to guarantee a high positioning of tourism in the Barolo area

After a series of events dedicated to tourism development and discussions with local wineries and tourism operators, the Strada del Barolo and the Enoteca Regionale del Barolo, in collaboration with the Ente Turismo Langhe Monferrato Roero and the Ente Fiera Internazionale del Tartufo Bianco d’Alba, are promoting a new meeting useful for operators and wineries entitled “Keeping the course straight – or how to continue to guarantee a high positioning of tourism in the Barolo area”.

The initiative will be held on Monday 31 March 2025, at 4:00 pm, at the Enoteca Regionale del Barolo, and will address some key issues for the future of tourism in the Langa del Barolo. It will be an opportunity for discussion to reflect on how the Barolo area can consolidate its positioning, consciously managing the evolution of tourist demand. We will also discuss how to enhance the food and wine experience and strengthen the role of wineries, so as to build an increasingly coherent and attractive offer.

The meeting will be structured in two parts: a part of frontal interventions in which experts from the tourism and wine sector will be involved, followed by an interactive session in which each participant will be directly involved. In this second phase, participants will be divided into four work tables, each led by a facilitator, to develop strategies and concrete proposals on the topics covered. The solutions that emerge will then be shared in a final session and collected in a document useful for future tourism development strategies.

Introduction and moderator

  • Daniele Manzone, Director of the Strada del Barolo and grandi vini di Langa
