“Mia unica collina”

La Morra remembers Claudia Ferraresi in a conference on Saturday 21 September and with an exhibition of her paintings on display from 20 to 29 September 2024

Ten years after her death, on Saturday 21 September 2024 La Morra remembers Claudia Ferraresi, art critic, painter, woman of culture and wine, tireless testimonial for over forty years of the territory of Langa and Roero in the world, of Piedmontese food and wine and of the culture of food in a universal sense.

At 6:00 pm, in the church of San Sebastiano, the Municipality together with the Locatelli family, the Rocche Costamagna winery, the La Morra Eventi e Turismo association, the Don Rubino Civic Library, the UNESCO Club and the Agorà Association, present the event “Mia unica collina”, a conference to remember the figure of an extraordinary, eclectic and versatile woman, who was able to bring the name and image of La Morra into the world of national and international culture long before the global affirmation of the Langhe brand.

Claudia will be remembered by the testimonies of the people who knew and appreciated her and who, with her, shared the great love for the magical land of Langa.

The backdrop to the story is the exhibition of Claudia Ferraresi’s paintings dedicated to the hills, images and documents from the family archive that opens its doors on Friday 20 September 2024 and will remain open until Sunday 29 September 2024.
