White, Red, Pink: Networking in the Footsteps of Fausto Coppi

In continuity with the path started in September 2023 with the seminar “The island of great Piedmontese whites”, Terre Derthona – Strada del Vino dei Colli Tortonesi, in collaboration with the Consorzio Tutela Vini Colli Tortonesi and the Consorzio Tutela del Gavi, proposes a second round table, organized by the Strada del Barolo e grandi vini di Langa, with the support of the Strada del Riso Piemontese di Qualità.

The meeting will take place on Monday 16 December 2024, at 5.30 pm (registration starting at 5.00 pm) in Borghetto di Borbera (AL), at the Docup Centre (entrance from via Roma 191), and is open to wineries, agri-food producers, tour operators and all interested parties.

The round table aims to be a moment of discussion for the operators of the territory, with the aim of creating synergies and reflecting on the identity of the Gavi and Colli Tortonesi area as tourist destinations. The meeting aims to promote a shared awareness of the importance of enhancing the distinctive features of each territory, uniting them under a single vision: that of “Island of the great Piedmontese whites”.

The meeting will open with institutional greetings from Giovanni Moro, deputy mayor of Borghetto di Borbera, Gian Paolo Repetto, president of the Consorzio Tutela Vini dei Colli Tortonesi, Maurizio Montobbio, president of the Consorzio Tutela del Gavi, and Emanuele Sansone, General Manager BU Italia of Guala Closures. Subsequently, moderated by the journalist Marco Gotta, the meeting will see the interventions of Daniele Manzone, Director of the Strada del Barolo, Donatella Cinelli Colombini, producer and leading figure of Italian wine tourism (connected remotely), Walter Massa, president of Terre Derthona, and Massimo Biloni, president of the Strada del Riso Piemontese di Qualità.

The seminar is open to all interested wineries, hoteliers and operators: free access, subject to availability.
