P.G.I (Protected Geographical Indication) Piemonte Hazelnut
The Langhe surface included in the Register of Piedmont hazelnut producers now represents half that of the entire region. Moreover, since December 1993, this product has boasted the label Protected Geographical Indication (P.G.I.) “nocciola Piemonte”. The hazelnut that grows in Langhe has always been an essential raw ingredient for the confectionary industry all over the world.
