Collisioni 2015 – Messagge in a Bottle

The most awaited summer festival returs to Barolo from 17th to 21st July 2015: take the opportunity for a tour in the Langhe region!

The most awaited litterature and music agri-rock festival of Italy will take place from 17th to 21st July in Barolo, mecca of Italian wine, in the wonderful setting of the Langhe region, a UNESCO heritage, a natural stage that will host, in its squares, music, meetings, dialogues with Nobel Price winners, Italian and international music stars. In an informal atmosphere with debate and crossover among the arts, the protagonists will be writers, philosophers but also musicians that normally performs in stadiums and that here, in Barolo, will take the floor as narrators and poets, to investigate together the genesis and the literary influences that contributed to the creation of great songs.

In addition to the concerts of Vinicio Capossela (Friday, 17th July), Paolo Nutini, described as the finest songwriter on the international music scene, and Passenger, the young English folk-rock songwriter, author of the blockbuster Let Her Go (Saturday, 18th July); Fedez and J-Ax, a double concert in the day dedicated to youth (Sunday, 19th July); Mark Knopfler, former leader of Dire Straits (Monday, 20th July) and, in the closing concert, Sting, former leader of Police (Tuesday, 21st July), many other guests will be protagonists like Niccolò Ammaniti, Alessandro Baricco, Alex Britti, Massimo Cacciari, Vinicio Capossela, Luca Carboni, Gianrico Carofiglio, Marco Carta, Mauro Corona, Cesare Cremonini, Gigi D’Alessio, Niccolò Fabi, Eugenio Finardi, Carla Fracci, Umberto Galimberti, Emis Killa, Joe R. Lansdale, Marracash, Fiorella Mannoia, Mondo Marcio, Jay Mcinerney, Nesli, Omar Pedrini, Daniel Pennac, Katia Ricciarelli, Arrigo Sacchi, Andrea Scanzi, the Nobel Prize winner Wole Soyinka, Scott Turow, Antonello Venditti and Renato Zero.
